Went to get X-Rays eary this morning, took them right over to my Doctor. Still have one 4 mm stone, (I passed one about that size last Sat.), that is laying at the bottom of my kidney along with some sand and small stones. He did say they can be passed, so one way or another I'll get this taken care of in the next 4 or 5 days. Go back in 6 months to check if it has grown to a size that he can hit it with sound.

You think if I hang like a bat it will move on out. He did say it has to go up a little before it goes out.

Steady, here's the reality of it. Encourage the Dr to insert claw thru a nearby opening. Grab it and pull it out. A few of these procedures, a few more stents, occaisional drain tubes in same passageway and you'll be able to pass them w/o feeling it. The last one I passed( number 45 or so,total) I DID NOT FEEL. I heard it hit the porcelain urinal. I got a paper towel and took it to the truck. See, there is an upside to doing this over and over.

Yeah, I had the "Claw" back int the 80's. Doc said he would not cut me, (yet), he said his wire mesh basket can turn some, but not that much. Have passed about 3 small ones this Morning. Have some pain up there in the Kidney, so hopefully it is trying to move on out.

Funny, when I have passed any stones this go around, no pain. Little kicks here and there, nothing like the pain before Lazer treatment.

My mom had a kidney stone in 1991, about the size and shape of a serated lock washer. Yes, it had "teeth". No doubt she still lives in fear of a recurrence. Mid-back pain justifiably puts her on edge.
