Ok back in late june I had a break down in texas, I would be driving and out of no where it would kick into passing gear, Took it to hewlett chevrolet in austin and they change the MAF sensor. Headed back up to dallas it ran okay but not the way it supposed to. So i would drive about hindred miles and it would start again,So i would let it cool down and take off again and get about a hundred miles and do it again. Okay so yea probably like most I was thinking the issue is either transmission or catalic converter. So i have got the van up to bowling green KY where I had it towed on in to Columbus. So after tracing down and changing sensor after sensor I finally took it to a reputable mechanic and after multiple test it came out to be the plug for the TPS and the MAP sensor...Thank god i did not change the tranny or the cat converters,........So after the garage fixed it and 500 miles of driving in 2 weeks the van is running good and feel that it was 540 bucks well spent.........
Now its october debating on weather or not to hit the road again,Have mixed feeling miss the okay money I was making and the freedom but don't miss the headaches of the snow, ice, and sweltering heat also don't miss the up and down weeks

I took my old SS HHR to Hewlett and they refused to fix the broken transmission. I took it to another chevy dealership down the road can't remember the name and they had my transmission replaced within a few days. Hewlett is a crap spot and I'd never recommend them even to my enemy

TORNADO!!! Wife just drove us through a tornado on I75 northbound out of Georgetown! Was trying to get off the road and was politely relocated by wind to the side of the road look out everyone !

Edit :
Slightly calmer now tornado went across the interstate and my wife panicked maneuvered to the left as it was going west east .... It caught us drug the sprinter across the road as she had it floored trying to get away! We thankfully didn't tip over as we just caught the trailing end of it ! Holy :censoredsign: batman I'm glad I went to the bathroom in Georgetown !

I missed that, got through Ky [southbound] earlier, then hit rain in Tn that got pretty heavy - enough that I parked it a bit early. Kept hitting big deep puddles on 75.
Those tornadoes are super scary - glad you're all ok.
