That, my friend, depends on if you're only running your carrier's loads or if they're also watching for and bidding partner loads.
One man's dead spot can be another man's opportunity area.
Very wise observation Murray. .... and my boss watches the board like a hawk ...... and gets a good rate per mile too
Finally got a load offer, it was crap and I passed on it, even I have my limits.
Come in driver take one for the team..
I got one of those in the morning and its a bare bones load. Only reason I took it was because its a mini and have hopes of getting turned on the same log page in the afternoon.. Oh wait, I did one of those mini loads today and am now waiting for the next one.. Guess my reasoning doesn't always play out..
The $190 quote is a lifetime warranty as well
That's good, I know there are a lot of people who don't like to buy parts from Autozone, but their warranty is the easiest way to go, just go to any store and give them your phone number.
I have about 100k on the water pump and about 50k on the alternator that I got from them on my sprinter.
Heck, they even carry the brake pads for my straight truck, dealer wanted 200 for the set, Autozone had them for $50, and it included the hardware.
In Greensburg Ind. after delivering to you know where.....
You know where has let me down this week, hell the whole week was a let down, never crossed the state line once.
my 2 short runs paid good but just not enough runs to make my week, don't know if or who ran my old faithful this week. At least the van still has a full tank and is ready if a good call comes in today.I have to stay close to Ohio till Wednesday when alternator will be swapped out....don't want to go too far from shop....the rate on last nights run I could definitely stay close...
