Back to Buffalo. Avoiding the Thruway, using NY 5. In Irving, you're on Seneca Tribal land. Gas is approximately $1.87-$1.90/gallon, due to the lack of NYS taxes. Pretty amazing, imho

Side note: While I was at the J in Waddy KY, I got a personal best of 50 free channels on my TV. So far I'm extremely pleased with adding a TV. Never knew there was so much available. So I guess there is more available then Law & Order

Yesterday I was at a plant during lunch. I waited patiently for the audible ring tone that would send workers back to their stations.
Upon hearing the tone, I watched the zombie like workers rise from their seats, reacting like they were part of some conditioning experiment. It was a moment that made me very glad that I was not part of the rat race.

I agree! Been in the LTL business for 15 years. Come in same time, eat at the same time and mostly leave at the same time. It was great at first, as the years went by "bills per hour" rule came into play and that's when it was over for me. They wanted quantity over quality but they would tell you they want both and you can't have both at the same time.Yesterday I was at a plant during lunch. I unloaded Friday afternoon at Wentzville , Mo... DH 358 miles to home (Iowa) ..there 8.30 pm Friday night ... put Roof top vent in Saturday afternoon ... Sunday Funday with Grandson ... yesterday 11.30 am call ... load .. Mn. to Benson , NC... for 6am Weds unload .... enjoyed weekend .... but Layover Pay =?
Ahhh... now guessing Casino winnings ...lol ... Yes my Wife let me keep 1/3 of MY winnings ...
