we usually DH to el Paso from there....:)

Thanks I was at a little loss this morning as to where to go next. Sounds like a plan.
---very hard cold start this morning. Although I should not have been surprised, I still was to see I was facing a mountain when I got up. Always a cool sight to see :)

Tom, Dysart up in Bangor has one and if I remember right that's close to where you all are headed. Have fun guys
Thanks, knew about that one, needed one close here to Columbia falls. Got lucky and the ford dealer in machias offed to do it. Not spotless but a 150% improvement over what is was. Needed it done so we could get some pics tomorrow. We won't be over towards dysarts till Monday and I don't know if we will have time to stop.

Taking a short break. Just passed Mark Twain's place in Hannibal, Missouri. Clear blue sky, no clouds, dry roads, sunshine but chilly. Too cold for short sleeve shirt.

Heading to Kansas City, Kansas area about 250 miles away.

Today is Pearl Harbor Day.

no blocker heater...:( it was on the OLD engine...

Dude! Go to a Napa store...(If there is one there) and get a tank type coolant heater. And 2 hose clamps. IT is so eaqsy and quick to do this. Cut one of the hoses going to you're heater core, and put one end into the heater and clamp it, and the same with the other end. 5 minute job. They cost like $35.00...and work awesome! just make sure there is coolant in the tank coolant heater before first use. A 1500 watt one will work awesome! It heats the antifreeze in the tank, then pushes it into youre engine, and than cold antifreeze comes in the tank and it heats that. It continually recirculates the coolant and you will be surprised how well it works. I put these on my potato chip trucks. They are sweet!

Dallas. Still an inch of ice on the ground since Thursday night. It needs to break up before Monday afternoon pickup.
