Without a doubt an enemy can enter the US through Canada. The border is just as wide open as the southern border is. There is considerable movement of drugs across that border as well as human trafficing, primarily for the "sex trade". Neither the US or Canada is doing much to stop things either. Both Coast Guards and the US Border Patrol, in the area where I live, are seldom active at night, when the majority of the problems take place. It is rare to see their boats out after dusk or before dawn.
