Okay, I was wondering why this cartoon received such a low rating. I think this is 100% true. What about you? I know it's just a "cartoon" - but I think it's an actual reflection of what happens to many expediters.

Please give this cartoon a fair rating if you think it deserves one.

For quite awhile I thought the only way to get a load was to buy a movie ticket or sit down to a great meal!! You hit this one right on the head!

always works for me
now happens when you decide to leave early, can't you do one more
stop, and then it goes over
like last night you can do this on your way home be in about 1800, miss the flight and now be in about 2000 than o be in about 2230
than didn't come in untill this morning
so much for going home early

That is very true. Ive learned in the few months ive been doing this- there is three major ways of getting a load:

1.) Sit down to a meal
2.) Just climb into the sleeper
3.) Get off the exit to go home.

All three have happend to me!!

Our trucker friend in the 'toon can at least scarf down the peas and smashed spuds, cut up the cow, put it in a doggie bag, and get his drink in a cup to go. What if he was in the laundramat with every piece of clothes except what he was wearing was in the washer? What does a guy do then?

Cut up the clothes, scarf down the fabric softener, put the bleach in a cup to go, and throw on a garbage bag.

This is hillarious. I don't know how many times that has happened to me. Either eating, sleeping or in the shower.
