I have no idea, I do know that neither NC or TN are not even in the running. TN is water impaired, a few shallow rivers, very few natural lakes and some man made ones. NC has little to offer on the fresh water side. A few man made lakes and shallow rivers. Few natural lakes. They do have salt water. IF any state took Michigan over it would likely be Florida. I am only speaking of recreational boats with state registrations. No commercial boats, or federally registered ones.

It is not that important to the question. The boats made in those states, for the most part, are sold else where. Why are there so many boat builders in TN? I contend it is a better tax and wage structure.

what about to a tax free area . my local Business and Industry park offered no taxes for 10 years to businesses that move ,open in the park . . than after the 10 years they look for another tax free Business and Industry park .

why do we have to pay for insurance. somebody said about Irene . why should our government pay for any of the damages . that is what insurance is for . and we are all FORCED to have insurance any ways .

the only way the government should be helping with Irene or any others . is one to keep the people safe and alive until their houses are rebuilt .
and to make sure the insurance companies are doing what they are post to be doing .
yes the government should provide food ,water ,shelter, and security . for the people . TEMPORARY .

just like now there is so many unemployed . how long would ,should it take to get everything rebuilt . but NO they cant do that somebody will not make a BIG PROFIT . so who cares if a few people die , get ripped off , just as long as somebody can make a BIG PROFIT .
so a group of 5 . can make a BIG PROFIT while 100 suffer . is better then 105 making little profit

the greed is the down fall . to many want to be better then just "Keeping up with the Joneses"

This is from TIME Hope this meets the standards of a few that have a problem where links come from.

So any how. Love the slant where the Yale law school professor points out how it cost the state 1,140 to save the state less then 240 dollars a month.Gotta love it.Now take I like him will round it off to the state saving 240 dollars a month now times that by 12 comes up to 2,880 minus the 1,140 it cost the state to test those that passed the test and already this progarm has saved the tax payers 1,740 dollars

.Thats just the savings from two people doing drugs that they have the cash to pay for yet can not afford to take care of themselfs and belive tax payers should do it.Gotta love the libera media.

if people on welfare have to take drug test to get welfare . then everybody in the government should have to take a drug test to before they get paid .

but how many in the government would really get a drug test . oh they all would on paper . but how many would truely P in a cup . who will be there to make sure that they did or didnt . or if they had a bottle of clean P . or slip the tester a 100$ . wonder if they will let the people on welfare do that .

what about the working people that already have to go for drug tests .

When I worked for the federal government I was subject to random drug testing. I was also subject to random polygraph tests and security updates every so many years. I also WORKED for the money I made. NO FREEBIES.

Welfare is a gift, free, unearned money for BASIC NEEDS ONLY. No drugs, booze, beer, tatoos, cigs, cable tv, car insurance, telephones. BASIC food, clothes and shelter. NOTHING MORE. It is, after all, not their money. It is money that was taken at gun point from a hard working person and given to someone else. That hard working person has a RIGHT to know what is being done with money that THEY EARNED.

you were still a worker . not makeing the laws that WE THE PEOPLE have to follow . when was the last time you heard Bush or Obama took a drug test and did they pass or fail it ??
