Yep, yep: always too many trucks, and everyone who thinks they can survive in this biz, is (after getting laid off) coming on into the water. However, the Road patrol wizard told me they lost a bunch of trucks over the last few months. Jan & Feb will do that in any year. So- not to contradict myself, they ALL put on too many trucks, but when people refuse good loads, who is to blame most? I stay busy because I go where others do not tread.
These discussions also help when one tells what he drives. You vans, I'm sorry to say, are becoming dinosaurs. IF I wanted a van, I would do local courier work, and forget this non-existence lifestyle.
