Well, let me take a stab at this. I don't know what some members have smoked, drank, or snorted today to make them into what they are but here goes. Not that I need to explain to anyone less capable than their own dead cat, or anyone else, to figure out that donkey passes the filters while the three letter word for what ANYONE needs to get into their car etc., a very common usage by the way, but I chose to have donkey visible instead of ***. There is nothing defamatory or otherwise in violation in my suggestion that folks use car, bus, feet or whatever to go get their valid, legal photo ID. As so many like to say so often, get over it.

That Code of Conduct paragraph has nothing to do with Leo's statement - nothing in it is "defamatory, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive". This is nothing more than irrelevant nitpicking that misses the mark.

The entire second paragraph is defamatory - and I happen to agree that a valid Id is not a hardship for anyone to obtain, [sometime during the course of years] and is therefore a reasonable standard to require for voting.
But the broad brush stereotyping of liberal values and ideals is 100% wrong, and not conducive to any meaningful convo/debate.

The RIGHT of the People to self government. The RIGHT of the People to succeed ,or fail, WITH OUT interference from the Federal government. The idea that the Federal government should be small and NOT have any REAL power over the the People. The idea that the States and the People retain ALL rights and the Federal government has only a minimal number of responsibilities.

As for the retail analogy, while your analogy is true, it is also true, using the same analogy, that we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time for any reason. Says so right there in the Code of Conduct.

If you have a problem with a post or a poster, report it through proper channels. There's a warning triangle with an exclamation mark at the bottom left of every post. Use it. That's the only way to ensure Lawrence will see it, as he does not read the vast majority of these forums on a regular basis, especially this forum.

Can you cash a check with out ID?
Can you buy a car with out ID?
Can you get welfare with out ID?
Can you get a job with out ID?
Can you open a bank account with out ID?

No?

Then why should you be allowed to vote with out ID?

Because you are not bound to have identification of any kind. You can also argue they're making you get a license to practice a right, which they cannot do. However, voter fraud is rampant. You can't ignore the law, but you also can't let things be. Only one solution... eject illegals and jail those found to be fraudulent.

Show your ID and your allowed to vote. I can think of no reason why someone would not have ID other than they are in fact ineligible to vote.

As a moderator you are held to a higher standard than others. I will be calling Panther and asking them for their imput on why they support a site that has a racist for a Mod. I like you Leo but I have gotten calls from some of our drivers that are offended by your post.

Well Dave, you are entitled to your opinion of course. There's a three letter word for one's butt that blanks out on the site. I used the six letter word for the animal that's also called the three letter word sometimes. If people don't like the suggestion that people put their butt/donkey/rear/tush etc in their car, a bus, a bicycle or their feet to get somewhere to get a valid ID so be it.
