Nope not done with EO, just not gonna get all riled up when some folks here don't read all or understand our words, guess we also learned not to be so open and honest on here about our experience and goals ....For example when and where did we ever say we expected to run 5-6000 K a week in expedite......we have done our homework and we have a plan to join the Cat or FECC within a few weeks.....actually excited about the new adventure, we want to expand our horizons

We are tired of running this hard, our truck is in great shape and we prefer to keep it healthy as well as ourselves

Expedite will be purrrrrr-fect for us

After my shift I like to surf the net, watch a little Direct-TV to wind down while my wife keeps us rollin, it's the best way for me to get some shut eye eventually with wheels rollin, so EO is a must stop to get the latest gossip, news, and expedited opinions and experience.

By the way the cheapest fuel in 3 days was $3.77 today at the Pilot on I-35 north of Kansas City,MO

if you expect to drive 5-6000 miles a week, dont bother with fecc,it might happen but only couple times a year.If you need to run those miles, then you better stay with a t/l carrier,in expedite ,it isnt about miles but revenue. Here at fecc,we dont do non expedite loads, that make you drive 5-6000 miles to make a living.I'm not going to brag, but in 140000 miles a year,I do 1/4 millon dollars.im in service about 75% of the time, and accept about 70% of my run offers.I take the good loads, and turn good loads down, just depends where they go.Ive also been known to take a.You wont see me west of the Mississippi river, except once in a while,in fact leaving home Sunday, have to be in Carson California wed.morning,6500 bucks to the truck, see if you can do that at Panther, and no,im not running 3000 miles for that money.if i were it would be closer to 8000 bucks.oh by the way,im not in w/g and I dont pull a reefer trailer,I pull there dry box.

This is good information, nightcreacher. Thank you for sharing it. I have chatted with a few E-unit (not ER) drivers on the road who do not have the success story you do.

Is it as simple as that; drive team, stay mostly east of the Mississippi, stay in service 75% of the time, accept 70% of the loads, and run with FedEx?

In regards to the cost of Diesel. The local TV net works out of Springfield Mo. were saying in the middle of the week that the Springfield area was second only to New Jersey in low fuel prices. In the last two days Diesel has went from$3.39 to $4.00 a gallon
$.80 more a gallon then regular gas. It is my opinion it is an out right CRIME that a Fuel which is a by product of Gasoline can legally be so much higher. It's Conoco Phillips, Exon Mobil raping our country for their own GREED.

We can thank Wall Street for high price in oil,and supply and demand keeps the price of diesel fuel where it is.The EPA,hasnt helped a bit either. Our government has the ability to put a freeze on fuel prices. As far as the supply and demand, people drive their cars like gas is free, the trucks need to run,but if every truck would slow down for a week, there would be a price war trying to get rid of the over flow.Back in the Carter era, speeds were slowed to 55,has anyone thought why the speed laws are not being changed? We are all our worst enemy, thats my 2 cents
