Well just to keep this going, at my former employer we were multiple ISO certified and we never never never trained any contractor on ISO anything except what our policy that we are ISO certified. The reason we didn't train anyone is as soon as we trained them on a subject that is not company specific (like custom software), the contractor could sue for full employment and back benefits.
