Is hino truck made by Toyota and is it reliable with lots of parts ?

The engine is Hino, now a subsidiary of Toyota. They've made millions of them, in use around the world. The engines are fairly robust. Parts availability is good, but expensive. The worst part about them (like most modern trucks) is the after treatment is complicated, expensive, and not well understood by many people working on trucks
