I don't know about everybody but yes, we have seen an increase in offers in recent days. A few weeks does not a trend make but it is nice to see just the same.

judging by the amount of people viewing these forums,it seems like alot of us are sitting more.i was in mn at the rogers t/a, and there were 8 trucks there from various co's on sun night.only 2 of those got out yesterday.i was one of them, fortunately.

Last week, 90% of my trucks were under a load every day. This week, it's about 50% so far. Typical expedite!!

It has been steady since January. Busy, but haven't really seen a surge. Keep my fingers crossed. Maybe one is around the corner. Somebody has to carry the new needles out to CA for the new stimulas plan's tatoo removal program. :D

From my side of the fence, I can say that there appears to be a little more freight activity lately, but most of it is for the larger trucks. Still not a whole lot for the vans out there. Some of the larger name carriers have been brokering a little more lately, which gives me a bit more to look at during the day and a little more to bid on, but it hasn't translated into much of an increase for my company lately. Of the four vehicles, mine included, only two of us had loads today. I've done some local runs this week but haven't been out of town since I got home Thursday night. Yes, it does seem that there is an increase of sorts and I can only hope that the trend increases.

Freight as a whole seams to be picking up i think,It appears that there are fewer trucks sitting at the truck stops as a whole and more trucks passing me now on the road.so logic would indicate that if regular freight is busier then we should be to.

Hmmmm...has been busy lately....especially for the beginning of the month. Again...don't want to get to optomistic, but the Spring planting season is gettin underway. Lots of farmers need parts. I hauled a couple of loads this week that were for john deere. :D

Yeah, we were there too! lol :D Guess we must have been one of the two that got out. Got a load Tuesday to Grand Island, NE from there we shot over to Waterloo yesterday and picked up a load to Indy, dropped it this morning at 6am and are picking up a load to Wixom, Mi this afternoon. Yeah they are all 'little' loads but the 3 add up to over 1300 miles. Should be able to get something out of Detroit in the morning. Hoping to have as good a second half the week. Our week goes Tuesday to Monday.
Unfortunately we got stuck in Dallas last week so it has been our worst week yet this year. Kept thinking, Dallas, surely we will get something from here. Got there on Monday morning sat until Friday morning. (still can't believe we didn't get a load from there) Only got 882 miles for the week. EM'ed from Dallas to Okla City on Friday and got a load to Black River Falls, Wi dropped Sunday morning and headed on to Rogers MN, sit there Sunday and Monday.

And the fact there is less of us out there....maybe some of it is the result of thinning the herd....a little of this and a little of that...:D

I posted a couple weeks ago, how we sat in Houston for 4 days before getting a load.
Went into Ft. Worth this week, dropped the load at 8am and were headed back out by 2pm with an 800 mile run, with delivery next day.

Expediting, don't ever try and figure it out.
