Thats a good Q. Allways looked forward to going to Ky untill this year. This summer has me thinking about it but not turning em down yet I like Ky to much..Thinking it may have something to do with that female accent down there myself..LOL

Seems like ya not getting turned out of Ky like in the past??? It does seem slow to get out or your heading out of state to P-up something.

OH, I like Kentucky too, but not if I go broke sittin' here. You're right about the accent, it does sound pretty when a woman talks, especially a cute waitress :D

I assumed I'd be able to get outta here a lot quicker because there are two CSX facilities within a half-hour of me, as well as being within an hour or so of Charleston, Lexington, etc. I figured I'd have long since been sent to Waycross or some other railyard.

If no joy by Saturday I might go to Pittsburgh & visit my little one; she's a patient care tech up there :)

Like that's going to happen any time soon Right..I can't remember the last double drop I had.

Let's see. The longest "multi-stop" loads I had with a "rider" went from Philly to LA with 8 stops in between the pick up and the last stop. The second longest was from Edmonton to D.C. with ten stops in between the first and last, with a rider.

Wow!!! That's working it!! The longest double I've had (I don't try to do doubles unless everything looks "fail proof" on the front end) was a Cincinnati to Tucson and a Princeton, IN to Nogales. That was my $5375 week, after the El Paso to Portage, MI haul. Amazing week, that was. I even did motel rooms in Princeton, Amarillo, Tucson, Albuquerque, an Portage. And still had a few shekels left over. LOL!!

I even told the second one about it being a double and knocked a few hundred off for them. Dropped theirs 24 hours early, after the Tucson drop.

They paid VERY good money but we earned EVERY penny. The "DUDE" we had from Edmonton to D.C. was "stinky" and rude. Other than that he sucked. LOL!!
