Hello to all, I'd like to know which expedite companies consider sprinter 2500 SHC van's cube vans and pay them the c unit rate or a "sprinter rate" especially since the van can haul up to 3500lbs and taller freight.

TIA

The Sprinter 2500 has a gvw of 8,550lbs. and an empty weight of between 6,500lbs. and 7,000lbs. depending on the make of the cube box that is placed atop of it. Your carrying capacity will be approximately between 1,500lbs. and 2,000lbs.
The Sprinter 3500 cab and chassis has a gvw of 10,200lbs. It is a few hundred pounds heaver than the 2500 so it can carry approximately 1,500 more pounds than could the 3500.
The only problem with the 3500 is that you will have to keep DOT logs because the vehicles gvw is more than 10,000lbs.

Is your Sprinter a cube van on a cab and chassis or a regular van? If it is a cube van I'd like to know what company built your box.

Supreme Corp is the only "approved" body installer through DaimlerChrysler however I know of others that are mounting them.
US Truck Body of Streator, IL is one of them.
Also if you can find one of the first Sprinter 3500 cab/chassis produced in USA, they had a 9990 GVWR. They increased it to 10,200 around 2004. I would rather sacrifice the 210# extra capacity and not have to mess with the DOT.
