There is waaayyy too many "don't wannas" reading this to get much feedback i'm afeared. Not too many of em want that much excitement in their life. Most wanna choose their cargo and destination. Besides there thay'd have too much company for their percieved "free spirit".

Having typed that, be advised that is the ultimate "contractor beware" game. Go for it, might be the best roast goose hunt for you.

Worked for that company and others for several years. Money was great, some excitement, a lot of supervision. Stopped when offerred a job in Iraq. Best thing I ever did, lost friends over there now that should have said no also. I don't recommend it, nothing's worth your life. JMO Jack

And surviving Atlanta at rush hour is better? Or Jamiaca NY at night?

One of these days someone's gonna have to explain to me what a roast goose hunt is, cause I don't get it. It's a metaphor that makes no sense to me, and an in-depth Google search of nearly 600 million host servers finds the EO Forum is the only place it's ever used.

Golden goose, I got, same with pie in the sky. Don't get the roast goose. Sure, I see the metaphor about the goose that lays the golden eggs, the golden goose and all that, and of the fanciful promise of "a pie in the sky" salvation meal (coined in the Joe Hill song The Preacher and the Slave, where he ridiculed the Salvation Army for their concentration on collecting donations for the salvation of souls rather than in feeding the hungry) where you'll eat well, once the fat lady signs.

But, as a hunter I've hunted goose, and as a cook I've roasted goose. It's pretty easy to do both, relatively speaking. So I don't understand the compound discombobulation of the notion of hunting for a roast goose, as the only viable reason to use such a metaphor is for the express purpose of obfuscating both usable information and the persiflage of it all.

If I may take a stab.. (at that elusive roast goose, mmmm)
It's the hunt for the perfect goose, all the work already done, beautifully roasted to perfection and all dressed according to your wants, just how you like it. Perfect.

Jack, why didn't you turn down the Iraq job and take another assignment? Apparently they paid well, I see you were happy with the money. How did they treat the family of the guys who lost their lives in their employ?
