What we need is everyone with less than 51% of the vote to drop out! THEN we would win!
Isn't that how the nominating process more or less works already ? (they "drop out" by not being nominated)

Ahhh .... by the way ..... who's "we" exactly ?

Even better, during the general election, require 60% of all registered voters to be elected president! THAT would get rid of the "big money" in politics.
Explain to me how that would work ...... just like I was a child .....

How does all this line up with the Constitution ?

It won't work. I am just sick and tired of low end candidates being elected by a minority of voters. I am also tired of the low life registered voters who never vote that has lead to this problem. The entire process is corrupt. Between the big money, voter apathy and disgust it just is broken.

I would LOVE to amend the Constitution to change, not scrape, the electoral college. To make it far more difficult to be elected president. To insure that every county in every state would have meaning in an election.

BUT, it won't happen, we are stuck with what we have. :(
