Ok we have had discussions on worst truck stops, worst places to pick up or drop a load.(no pun intended):D

My question is worst interstate NOT under construction.

Was traveling this morning at 3am along I-40 in Arkansas. There was a stretch of road I thought I was going to have to have my fillings checked which got me thinking What is the worst interstate?

One other one pops into my head is the stretch of I-94 between Jackson MI and the Indiana state line that is really bad also.

What are everyone elses thoughts?

Most California roads are like washboards and only half of them have exit numbers. LA roads going into Texas, riding on the rumble strips is smoother. Layoutshooter

I think it would be easier to list the roads that are in fairly good shape. Thinking.....thinking...hmmmm

No doubt about that Pelican, roads that are good are far more rare than the bad ones. What about all those nice smooth roads through Los Angeles? Layoutshooter

I have to add...KY roads are improving and I think that TN except around the major cities have pretty good roads.

I hate I-79 from Erie all the way down to Charleston. It's in good shape I just hate this road, few services, hilly, twisty, the stupidity that is the Washington PA area.

I-94 across lower MI also ranks pretty low with me.

I hate the WV turnpike. It's a pain at night when its raining. It always seems to be my turn to drive on this road and it's always at night.

The WV turnpike is also getting better, they have been working on that section around Paint Creek that used to jar your fillings. BUT, that road can "wake you up" if you aren't paying attention! There is one curve that gets me every time.
