I have a Sprint service that is not an air card, it is a tiny box the size of a cigarette lighter, and a cord that plugs into any USB port. 59 bucks a month for unlimited, and it works in most places.

Laredo is an example of a place where it does not work well, even in town. So it takes a long time to load a page, and I just use it there to check email, and pay bills etc.

After reading this forum yesterday morning, the Wife and I were walking in a Mall north
of Charleston and as she darted off into the book store, I saw the Verizon kiosk.

Stopped to ask questions, liked the answers and walked away with a usb air card.

The cost, $0 for the air card, 59.00/month for unlimited service.

This will pay for itself every month, as my biggest deadhead expense, other than getting to a p/u, was getting to a wi-fi hotspot.

No need for the "J" or TA internet anymore as well.

It was easy to set up on my MacBook, and it is faster than truckstop connections.

Thankyou all.
