Hey Cheri, thanks for looking out for me, and all this time I thought that you didn't like me.
Can't imagine why you'd think that - but then, I can't imagine why you think some other things you've posted, either.;)

But really there is no need to concern yourself, the better half always has my back.:D
That's her job. At least, in public - she can tell you where you're wrong in private, though.
The rest of us are under no such arrangement.:D

I don't mind if you copy my thoughts, but could you find your own color, at least?:D

Not sure how that happened, but in trying to pull your quote out of my quote that's how it came out.

I don't think Yogi Berra could have come up with that one, lol - I'll have to use it the next time I screw up.
And before you even say it - it probly won't be long. :D

It's the Charismatics that you have to watch out for. They're so, well, charismatic.

Actually, it's those snake-handling Pentecostals from up in Aristotle's neck of the woods that you've got to watch out for. Those people are crazy.

If you ever get the chance, I highly recommend that you visit the Rock House Holiness Church up on Sand Mountain in northeast Georgia. It's like going to another planet. I'm serious. They even speak in some otherworldly language.
It's actually in NE Alabama, near Piedmont. The locals make great Sand Mtn molasses also - sell it at the Piggly Wiggly. You might also try the Edwina Holiness church in Newport, Tn the next time you're going through the eastern part of the state on I-40. Only in warm weather season, however; they release the snakes at the beginning of fall so they can hibernate. Wonder if they'd be interested in opening a branch location near Ground Zero if the gay bar idea falls through? I'm sure Mayor Bloomberg would welcome them with open arms.

Those poor snakes.

I think Rock House is in Sand Mountain Alabama, I went to one church that was in West Virginia and it was exactly like you said - another planet.
Yeah, I don't know why I typed Georgia. Brain fart. Rock House is not all that far from Ft Payne, maybe 15 miles west of there, and maybe 20 miles north of Albertville.

I remember we worked for 2 days a church in Boaz (where there is also a small church run out of someone's home that also handles snakes, at least that's what we were told), then went to one Albertville for 2 days, then on up to where the Rock House church is located. I think the town was Macedonia.
