I am buying a cargo sprnter van. Can someone tell me what company offers liability/non liability for new cargo/expedite drivers? I've been told to purchase coverage for $1mil.

You sound like a want-a-be, that is getting into Expediting? I hope you did all the necessary research. It also sounds to me that you aren’t even leased onto a company as of this post, or they would have sent you all the info you needed to help you get set up.
A Sprinter isn’t cheap!! A Sprinter isn’t the type of van you can run as a personal vehicle if you decide you don’t like Expediting. Did you do any research on this site?

Yes you do need Commercial Liability insurance of $1million and you also need cargo insurance of $100thousand. A good place to start looking for insurance is at the OOIDA web site. Or get out your yellow pages and start calling around. If you ever had insurance before you may want to call your broker, and tell him/her what you need. Sometimes they can under write or will know someone that can. You may also want to get a business tax #.
