Progressive has good rates and coverage but you need x amount of years experience (don’t recall number) as driver before they will accept someone.

OOIDA offers insurance coverage at high rates same type of coverage they accept higher risk drivers.

I strongly suggest you review past posts to review discussion on both your questions. There is a wealth of information stored in archives available to anybody who is willing to spend the time.

You may also talk with whom you leased with about getting back hauls using their insurance coverage for a fee as this may be cheaper and easier in the long run.

It is not so a big profit. We have the same are MC number and we countinoet to pay the incurase, but if everythinhg work ok with a Panther I will cancel the insurance and useing the company only. Any way the brokers take you 10-12% but we know that it is a lot more .........and a agree to 15% on panther for a brokers load than pay insurance and get re.... off from a brokers .............Thing if the big company are not busy the broker are to very slow or thay don't pay you after you finish the job............all ways somthing . I wish you the best and good luck on all decitions you have made............

If they are not keeping your trucks loaded and you have your own MC, why not run them on YOUR MC and insurance and just become a partner carrier for this company and others? Since they already know you, you would probably qualify for as just about as much work, but at a better rate. Plus you can take loads for others as well.

Possible?
