Insurance Problem

Out of the blue we were hit with a insurance problem.
Does anyone has some good info on insurance companies that will do 1-ton vans??? It seems that no one of the well known insurance companies will deal with the expediting business. I am in the state of WI.
I'd really appreciate some input or referral.

Try Progressive. They have quoted me for a straight truck, only one so far with me under 23 or 25... They might not be the cheapest, but they have told me they try to do insurance for everyone... I however am still looking around, for a better deal.
Good Luck, let us know what you find out.

You don't say whether insurance is provided to you through your carrier?

Progressive is definately not the cheapest . I dropped them long ago . I als had State Farm for my personal vehicles but they told me they won't insure commercial vehicles . I have a 1 ton insured through Transportation Insurers in Delphi , IN . (765)564-2165

Miko;
Try Transport Insurance Agency. They are out of Sylvania, Ohio. Have great knowledge of our business and cargo vans. Their people provide excellent customer service. Definitely A+ in my book. A few of our van contractors have their NTL and Phys Dam with them. Their number is 888-935-4842.
Thanks,

Thanks so much guys for your input on the insurance problem!
I will check them out ASAP.

Currently, I am leasing a 1-ton van from another o/o, who had lived in my area before, had the insurance, got me on the policy, then moved to another state, where he has to pay horrendes rates for same insurance plus city tax for diddely...

O/o applied for own authority, found out that insurance is not sufficient for DOT. I plan on purchasing my own vehicle with own insurance, and thats where all the trouble began...

Like I said, thanks so much for your input, I will check it out and keep you posted!
