Did a search on the forum for this but could not find it or I looked in the wrong place.

Here is what I need information on.

What is the average miles you can get on a set of tires (front and rear) on a straight truck 6 and/or 10 wheeler straight tractor before replacing them?

I have talked to some O/O and read it somewhere that the average percentage to take out of the settelment would be 35% to 50% for all of your expense (truck payment, insurance, oil changes, maintenance, taxes and etc.) is this a good number to work with?

Any more information you can provide is greatly accepted!!

Thanks for the input,
Ricky

Almost 50% if there is a reasonable truck payment. Only put down 10 or 20% than higher on the expense ratio. 200 probably on steers and a little more than that for drives, this is keeping a close eye on pressure, rotating them, and keeping the front end aligned. If not, than proabably just under 150.
