I don!t run for Panther but I met a Panther couple last week in Memphis and they said things were quite slow and they were having their settlement checks delayed.It was taking 5-6 weeks to get paid vs the normal 3 weeks.Could have been BS,who knows,possibly to frighten off potential contractors with Panther..

BS. FIRST PANTHER SETTLES IN 2 WEEKS NOW. SECOND THEY NOW

I HAVE HAD TO HAVE MONEY A FEW TIMES EVEN BEFORE IT WAS
DUE AND THEY SENT IT NO PROBLEM. AS TO HOW THE FREIGHT IS RUNNING,

i've been there for over 2 years and i have to say that in the last 3 weeks its been picking up. i don't think that the team you met in memphis was bs'n you cause there could've been problems with the paperwork not being there on monday or the paperwork wasn't filled out correctly. which is a must as you know.. so for one owner who drives for panther and really enjoy the people there at dispatch and safety, i would have to say that you probably didn't get the whole story of why they had to wait so long to get paid. and for what the other poster told you, they will advance you what you need as long as you've got a good reason for it and you got money coming to you. $0 = $0 advance. except for your fuel advance every week. i hate to see you think that the team you met was bs'n you cause when i tell about panther i tell the whole truth and nothin but the truth.
it was really slow and alot of drivers jumped ship, even i thought about it but i don't think i could handle working for any other expeditor. they are the best as far as i'm concerned.
at least if you're slow you can get a backhaul instead of sitting on your hands. i jst didn't like the last response you got so i decided to set the record straight for everyone who reads this. i always laugh at the ones who say take everything cause thats what i say so i can get the longer run. it helps me out so i hope his trucks keep on accepting every run so i can get the better one. favors are just that favors by you for panther thats it. they're too busy to remember.
