That is well above average pay for a truck driver. A newer driver might only make about $40k for their first year and a driver with 1-2 years experience should make around $50k. Once you get 2-3 years experience you can get closer to $60k or even $70k depending on the type of company you drive for but that much money is much higher than most will make.
