Correction. Orientation for Landstar Express America is only held at the Rockford location. Landstar Ranger can be done at any other Landstar orientation centers. Landstar Express America is based out of the corporate office in Jacksonville, FL.

We made it without being stopped. Most weigh stations were closed. The only one that pulled us in was the Florida Agricultural Inspection station.

Diane and I wish you the best as you go through orientation Monday and Tuesday. You have already been talking to several BCOs so you already know how willing to help they are when your questions will come later in the week. You are already off to a good start by virtue of the contacts you have made.

That said, be patient too. It takes time to get into a groove (if you ever get into a groove). It's OK if it does not happen in the first few days. It's different at Landstar and it takes time to fully grasp and appreciate the differences.
