I'm going to enjoy picturing every single cop I see doing that, lol. And using it to validate my refusal to have a dashcam that points at me, too. [There's a reason I don't sing in public!]

What I see...is a person who is obviously very happy and enjoying himself..so being in his cruiser he must love his job...good for him.
Would rather get pulled over by him...than one driving around punching the steering wheel..

I always thought it was a girl singing that song. Never would have guessed the truth.

That it was staged has been suspected from the beginning.

Still, staged or not, dood knows all the words, and bustin' all the moves, to Taylor Swift. :D

I don't even know how to process this.

You could process it as another white cop shoots and kills unarmed, defenseless black youth. A grand jury fails to indict white cop. White cop is so overcome with joy he breaks into song on the way to the doughnut shop. There ya go. That wasn't so hard to process.

Speaking of which, Eric Holder's Department of Justice is reportedly recommending no civil rights charges be brought against Officer Darren Wilson in Ferguson. Justice prevails. Now, where can Wilson go to have his good name restored?

Aristotle: surely you know the decision on whether charges are brought or not is influenced by many factors, including pragmatic & political, along with actual hard evidence, trustworthiness of witnesses/alibis, extenuating or aggravating circumstances, and justice isn't always one of them.
There are many people who don't believe Wilson's "good name" needs restored, because they don't think it was ever lost. I doubt he'll have too much trouble becoming employed again, and what he does after that depends on his character.
Like George Zimmerman.

Holder desperately wanted to prosecute Wilson, but could not find a legal basis to do so. Wilson acted appropriately in self defense, this was clear from Day One.

Civil Rights violations has a really high bar to hurdle. Even if Wilson were 100% wrong in the Brown shooting, to be a Civil Rights violation they'd have to prove it was racially motivated from the start, and that when he stopped them initially it was for the expressed purpose of violating their rights.

Like George Zimmerman.

George Zimmerman is truly the "American Dream" personified. After dealing with all that messy business in Florida he dropped the end three letters from his last name, grew a beard and opened a coast to coast chain of men's clothing stores.

Maybe George could hire Darren Wilson as a loss prevention specialist. Darren couldn't wear a police uniform on the job but I think he would like the way he looks in a suit. I guarantee it.
