If your not getting the animation with the images, try clearing out your temporary internet files and your cookies... and make sure your settings are checked for animation.

Go ahead and delete post 20&21.I don`t know what is going on.I can click on the image and drag it to the message board but whenI release it all that shows is the url.

Hi there - it appears that you haven't got the image tags quite right.... see my post up the page, and edit your image tags as I have outlined there.

I found the easiest way to put an emotion in the post is to drag and drop it in the box you are typing your words. Then delete the img in the box before the http http://www.emotipad.com/liteemoticons/Flame.gif and the [/img] at the end, after the gif. This is the easiest way to get the emotions to work. To put a picture in a post you can copy the URL (path) and paste it in your box. Hope this made sense

Karen, I can't tell you how much we appreciate it. You have excellent business sense and consumers love it when a business takes real interest in it's customers. You must see ALL sorts of message boards!!!! Bet you that could get real frightening. LOL

As a footnote, I am using emotipad without having to keep editing my post so it's a simple drag and drop affair. Providing you use the image tags below. This means you need to hit the options tab on the top menu of emotipad, then hit preferences and then forum set up. There are two boxes there that by default read img and /img with square brackets... Just delete the contents of those two boxes and type in this:

Soulgirl,I did exactly what you said and it still didn`t work. so I decided it wasn`t worth the trouble and uninstalled it.BTW I was on the emoticom website getting help from fluke I think was the name when I went back the last time I couldn`t post because it kept telling me my password was wrong.the queston # was d550.

ok...I was talking to a friend in Yahoo messebnger and wanted to do something cool, so I tried to drag and drop an emoticon. What ahppened is that when i dragged it to the window and thwen sent the message, it appeared to my friend as the path, and when she ckicked on it, it opened a browser window, and th eemoticon appeared..WHY?..

You did it all right except instead of using < > at the begaining and end you have to use the square quote signs [. The key next to the p on the keyboard.

What is if any a fun program to use with outlook 2000? My wife loves these little guys, (so do I) and was using Hotbar. It (hotbar) is a spyware program so she removed it. She then tried smiley central, which is making her browser run very slow because of the conflict. She won't use incredi-mail because it is a stand alone and cannot be used in outlook. I see your program can only be used with web mail.
Ideas for an emotion, a smiley driving an expediter truck, or van down a bumpy road. OR
something like a smile in a truck with a logo saying we deliver now, have it shown as getting loaded at the shipper and changes over to getting unloaded at the consignee's. Just a thought!!!

After playing around I did get it to work. I had to set the preferences and change my email editor to HTML. I use Microsoft word as my email editor in outlook HTML style. I see your emotions will not work using word or am I missing something.
