Who? What do you mean "who"?

Well, I guess I did make it up here pretty quick. I got this run from another carrier and I think they really wanted a team for the run, but I was the only carrier who responded to the load offer. I had to deadhead over to Arkansas to pick it up, but the rate was enough to cover the deadhead no problem. I would do 400 miles and take a 45 minute nap, another 400 miles and another 45 minute nap. I pushed myself pretty hard. I slept well after delivering this morning. I woke up a couple times and looked at the load boards, but mostly I just slept the whole day. After I got up I went and got some nice seafood, some local place in Milford, CT called the Captain's Catch. The fish was excellent, but the portions were so large I have some left over that I'll warm up tomorrow for lunch. I just hope I get something out of here before the weekend. New England is nice, but I don't want to hang out all weekend.

Well I got out of Texas!!

Now I am sitting in Tulsa, at my drop waiting for the people to arrive to unload my precious cargo...

But anyway, I checked in a while ago with the guard, got my inspection done and then told that I will have to hold it till 8am.

Then I am told I am to park and not to leave seeing I am checked in and inspected. So I am thinking 'great, I will get a few hours sleep' but no...... not going to happen...... because the place that they have me sitting is 15 feet from the tracks of the entrance to one of the three rail switching yards in the area and the only one without a bypass so every 15 minutes an engine comes out of the yard, hits the horn 2 short, one long and one short because it has to cross a road sits for a little bit and then back into the yard it goes and then again 2 short, one long and one short as it approached the road, scaring the cr*p out of me every time. One just passed by and it was a long train and another one is following right behind it.

a solo female friend of mine whom also is with panther........ is down there in dallas.
she dont get down there that much in fact i think this is only her 2nd time there... and she is like 9th on the boards last i heard.......
i tol her if the boaards rnt moving to fast tomorrow .... she ough tto be calling back haul to get her bk north east somewhere..... or shee will be there forever. lol
