Nope, I didnt discover the truth abbout Jimmy Hoffa, or get too close to hangar 18 in area 51, or come to my senses and find a profitable career.
I had the death touch for my computers the past few weeks thats why I havent been arround.
So I will be available for now to help some, annoy others and maby kick a hornets nest or two.

For those who are intrested I will be posting a how to for R/R Fuel injectors and running the head on International DT and HT engines I just have to get the pics and type it up.

Last time I stayed at a Holiday inn I had a hotel lizard knock on my door offering room service.

Desktop at home is D.O.A. and the laptop bakc light is inop. My computer geek told me I can build a Frankenstien by plugging the monitor into the laptop. It works, but I dont see myself lugging the monitor arround on the truck.
Knowing my luck Ill get shaken down suspected of boosting a T.V. L.O.L.

Hahaha.... I just saw a decent HP laptop at Wal-Mart for like 298.00 I believe, not sure of specs but affordable.

Looking for a new laptop but I prefer windows 7. I cant seem to get the hang of windows 8 its like a bad MAC coppycat program. If I can find a decent laptop I can have my computer geek friend change it up.

That's pretty much what I buy every time. I've bought 3 laptops from Walmart for the road and our "company system" that we want to be able to go in vacations with us. They were all about $300-$350. First two Acers and the latest an HP.
Windows 8 is a pain to get used to but it IS the future. Windows 7 isn't sold in new systems anymore.
I'd say go buy the $300 W8 unit with a 15.4" screen. You'll get used to it. In getting there and I went kicking and screening.
It's actually fairly cool ones you get all the "tiles" sized and placed where you want.
Or go buy a used computer and have W7 installed. But I really think that's a BAD idea. Don't buy someone else's problems.

It's not a barn burner, but it's a lot of bang for the bucks. Comes with Windows 8, but you can run Classic Windows Shell to turn the interface into Windows 7 (or most any flavor of Windows). He got it over the weekend and then I set it up for him.

managing a truck, or several of them, more than enough comp for the job.

Oh, I do too!! But I broke my last XP laptop screen leaning on it reaching across the van. Boo. I still have it. I probably replace the screen, wipe it and give it to the kids.
