The accident happened on Wednesday early in the morning around 3amish. Was between two tractor trailers, no one was injured,but there was freight scattered all over the highway, and the highway was closed. Unfortunately we got stuck in the bunch that got to sit and wait for the highway to be partially opened so we could crawl around the site.
Did the Panther van get by the accident faster by running up the hammer lane, the one that that the emergency vehicles were using to access the site?
I apologize for perhaps coming across as I'm not sure what, jealous that a smaller vehicle could get around sooner than us, no. For myself personally for whatever reason the accident happened driver error, faulty mechanical problems, it reafirmed in my book that there is no freight out there, that we haul that is worth anyone's life, vehicle, safety, whatever reason that is near and or dear to your heart. The 3 1/2 hours we sat there waiting for the MI State police to clear the site enough to let us lumbering straight trucks( us) and the other tractor trailers to safely navigate the situation gave me time to vow that I not be in a run my behind off,and adhere to a drive safely mode whether Iam at home driving daily, or out on the road delivering products to the rest of humanity.
