When I wrote cod instead of cold I had my wife looking over my shoulder saying "come on we need to go". So I hurried and didn't reread like I usually do. Maybe after this next semester in Freshman English 2 I'll get even better at writing. I don't think I'd make a career out of it, but I have thought about writing a couple of books. I actually have two that I would like to work on. One I would most likely be asking some help from the people here. Well see what the future holds.

Oh yeah if anyone wants to learn about about Eli Whitney or Quantril's Raiders(A guy from Ohio who led a band of Cofederate guerillas) and the massacre of Lawerence, KS I have some papers you can read. English wise they may not get an A but the U.S. History teacher gave one. Their only 5 pages long so whatever. I might work on them some more in case I want to turn them in to another teacher. Just Kidding.:+

Way to go, Ark. Keep up the good work. Hint: Have your wife or SO proof read your papers. A woman can always find any slight fault in a guy (or his school papers). I used to tell that to my students.

I hope they took it as tongue in cheek advice, Prof, cause it's probably true that a woman can point out all her SO's faults, but they aren't necessarily any better at proofreading - if you'll look at my suggestion to Ark about proofreading, you'll notice that I misspelled "grammar", lol. And I will never forget the birth announcement I got from my sister in law, many years ago, telling me that she had named her newborn "Brain"..... :7

I took Into to Psychology, Elementry Algebra, U.S. History 1, and Freshman English 1.

Next semester I will be taking Biology, Intro to Accounting, Intermediate Algebra, Western Civilazation 1, and Freshamn English 2. The Biology has a 1 hour lab that goes with it, so I'll be taking 16 hours.

You know I goofed off alot in high school, but I feel I shouldn't do any of that know. I would feel bad if I goofed off and flunked. Mainly because it's tax dollars that I get through the VA that is paying for my education. So I guess I should say thanks for paying your taxes and helping me through school. When I first was put on 100% disabilty I was a little ashamed unitl I learned about all the programs. The one I'm in they call Chapter 31 I think. It pays for school, but more importantly it helps me get back to work eventually. I had to talk to education and vocational counslers to get approval on my chosen career path. Plus I had to get an okay from a Dr. that said when I get this degree my disabilty shouldn't keep me from working in my chosen field.

Congrats Ark!!!! Lots of folks talk about going back to school to further their education, but that's about as far as they ever get. You did the talk and walked the walk!!!! You have my admiration and respect!!!! Tom.

Ark, you done good! Send me your hat size and I will see about making you a genuine chinchilla fur mortarboard for graduation. I also have noticed a vast improvement in your posts. Keep at it and hang in there. It gets easier after the first year.
