Carrier of the year....as voted on by the EO membership...

what criteria would have to used?

What would be required to be carrier of the year?

any thoughts?

The large carrier cheer leaders will all vote for their carrier. Doesn't sound like a practical idea.

Barrett or Load-1 would probably get my vote...but then again having never contracted with them..they may not suit my style...

That's right, going to be sitting in Memphis, near the HQ, going to visit for the fourth time maybe Monday, I am amazed at its greatness each and every time.

TEANA votes for a carrier of the year. Every member company gets one vote, so it is based on company to company voting. I think last year was C&M out of Cleveland. They will announce this years winner at the TEANA conference in July and I will let everyone know who wins.

They are all good Carriers, my vote would be from one of these carriers because your not just a truck number your a partner with them. Panther Expedite, Express1, LoadOne, or TST Expedite.

This is an award voted on by the TEANA Membership. Voting is based on inter-company business they have done with each other. This is based on "on time" performance, communication, ease to do business with, on time bill payment, paperwork submission, etc.

C&M Transport, Inc – Company of the Year

Load One Transportation and Logistics – 2nd Place

Clearwater Logistics – 3rd Place

How would it work out? I would hope that every driver would vote for the carrier he or she is running with. That would give the edge to the largest carriers. If you would not vote for the carrier you were running with, why are you running with that carrier?

Obviously Phil..I did not put a lot of thought into the question...but for the obvious, it would not work out...
