I have run Expedited Air Frieght, Contracted Warranty frieght, and Courier services in the past. I am considering buying a New Sprinter van and signing on with FED EX, Express1, Or Landstar, Anyone out there have a suggestion as to who can keep me busy???? When I go out on the road I want To turn Miles!!!!!! NOT see the sights.

Thanks Guys

Personally, out of those 3, I would choose Landstar. I think they will have better pay per mile on average than the other 2, but maybe not as many miles.

If I were going to concentrate on miles, I would probably go with E1. Some of the FDX vanners may be able to dispute that, I don't know. I think the pay per mile will be close to the same between E1 and FDX.

I have never been leased to any of the 3, so it is pure speculation on my part.

You can eliminate Landstar from your list .. they desire those with experience. As for "miles" .. they are not important, what those miles PAY is!

I would think that if turning miles was the major objective, then A. Blair would be the clear choice.

Thanks for the insight guys,
I have never heard of A.Blair.
Landstar was high on my list for sure.

As far as miles to dollars, I'd rather be moving even if I have to move some lower dollar freight from time to time, better to make money than sit in my van for a couple days waiting to make top dollar, Could have run two or three loads instead of sittin doing nothin.

A. Blair I believe is out of Kentucky. I have spoken with a few of their straight truck company drivers who say they do well. Unfortunately I haven't run across any of their vans.
