Ragman I guess its up to you to get us around on the surface streets..I was think 5mile or 6mile road out of Plymouth but now I see there is no ramp off the 275 for 5mile..Its been 20 years since I ran around down there..Help us out bro I'm thinking the planned detour isn't going to be fun during happy hour. Whats a good truck route coming into Detroit from the west on M-14?
How about 7 or 8 mile or does that plug up also? I'm thinking Ford rd is no good..
This is sure to back up beyond Sheldon rd in no time at all.

It's really going to depend where you're going and what you're driving. My guess would be either Ford Rd or 8 Mile.

All I know it is going to be one giant cluster f**k.

No problem, Isis is not up there anyway.

I was up that way on Wed. The ONLY place in SE MI that can LEGALLY install stair chair lifts is in Troy. Saw the signs, have fun.

You could go 8 mile. I'd go either 696 and drop down on Southfield or 75, or go 94 straight in. All depends on where you're delivering.

Agreed..
For inbound traffic during off hours with little traffic I think the newburg rd exit will work but most of the time I'm thinking your going to have to have a plan by the time ya hit Sheldon rd.

I'm also thinking the price of freight coming out of those industrial parks off Schoolcraft rd just went up simply for aggravation..

From the official faq page.

Will the ramps to Newburgh Road be open during construction?
Yes. Eastbound I-96 exit to Newburgh and westbound I-96 entrance ramp from Newburgh will remain open throughout the duration of the freeway closure. Note, eastbound M-14 traffic will be forced onto I-275. I-275 traffic will have access to Newburgh Road.

So that what,, Puts the project 5 days behind schedule already and we haven't even had a rain day yet??

They had to hold off starting due to the ground being frozen.
