anyone have experience with hydrogen generator for extra fuel economy and performance

They have not solved the problem of increased costs in generating the hydrogen enough to offset the savings one may see in fuel costs. At this time the kits you find on the internet are basically hocus pocus when it comes to big trucks. There are big and small companies working on the technology but at this time you are not going to order some inexpensive kit install it in a truck and save any money.

I have been interested in this since I first seen it at the big truck show in louisville, I am convinced it is a toss up between voodoo, and magic...... that being said I think it could work at some time in the future. Everyone whom had a system to sell , could show me they could make hydrogen.....not very hard eletecute water seperater h from o2......but no one had any dyno test on an actual motor or performance stats......if you say it works prove it.

The problem is it takes more energy to split the water molecule to generate the hydrogen than burning the hydrogen generates. In other words, chemically, if one were to truly find an affordable way to have an on board system splitting water, it would result in a DECREASE in mileage. Commercial Hydrogen stations have appeared in L.A., but they're burning natural gas to create the energy to create hydrogen--doesn't sound too efficient to me. Of the current technologies, the only way to make hydrogen feasible as a fuel is the use of nuclear power to generate the energy needed.
