Got us a place just west of Thibodaux/Houma in a lil burg called Ursa. And yes, we fish outta Morgan City [10 mins west of us]
Spring shrimp was fair to poor. Wer'e now in our 2nd week of fall shrimp. Doing better than expected but zones west of us are still poor.
Recreational fishing has been decent ,as I see allot of nice "reds" on everyones table.
Couple more years.....and i truly believe we'll be back to pre-Katrina conditions.
I hope it continues to improve for you, fishing is a tough life. Do shrimp spawn in coastal wetlands? I know little about shrimp. I do know the coastal wetlands got creamed by Katrina. Layoutshooter
