husband and wife want to be team drivers

to start with i have 5 yrs otr in class a truck my wife has no driving exp we wanted to know if anybody could tell us if she got her class b cdl through a school would we possibly be able to find a straight truck team driving opp we dont mind staying out for long periods i dont have hazmat or twic but we are both willing to get

You can train her in a rental truck w/air brakes from Ryder and then she can get her CDL without school!

Like 1rdd said no reason to spend big bucks on a school. Yes you would be able to find a truck to drive.

She will probably have to pass a drive test in a straight truck when you find the carrier you are going with. Not a big deal and your experience is what will count.

Ask questions and read away on this site as there is lots of information on how to pick a carrier that will fit your needs.

If you go with the right carrier, you can start driving with your wife as a passenger train her yourself. Then when she is ready you can go and use the truck for her test. That way you are making money while she trains. I dis this with Expediter Services contracted to Panther.
