Hunting season update

A quick update on my hunting season. I got a second deer on Sat., a nice, fat, very large doe. Had to work for it, a rather long hard drag, but, meat in the freezer.

Congrads on the second deer Layout,,I was total skunked this year..With that said,
I hope ya had Long Long drag back to the truck

We did put up 3 deer but none where taken by me,,But all is good likya said meat in the freezer..

It was a pretty bad drag, dark, heavy swamp. I know my heart is ok after that one. If I knew where I was I bet I was only 100 yards in. I had to follow the deers tracks, many circles and turns, made that 100 yrds into 500!! Funny thing, that deer got heavier with every yard dragged!! Sure glad there was snow!!

LOL..Many times walking up to the deer I looked back and wondered,,Oh God,,What did I do,,What am I getting into now.
Knocking it down is the easy part isnt it..Glad ya found it and got it home.

Finding it was not too hard, there was a good blood trail up until the last few yards. Good thing there was, it had got in with a small herd and it would have been impossible to follow the one I was after without the blood trail.
