How much would you charge an Owner?

Don't know the owner, but $1,000 per truck is too high UNLESS, they are providing the ACTUAL freight that is hauled.
The owner is struggling because if that truck doesn't gross 10k per month, he is a sinking ship. A lot of trucks at generic carriers aren't pulling that consistently.
Look how many went broke last year and didn't have to pay an additional 12k per year per truck.
Another, no need to complicate the simple.

None taken, I also have 5 trucks of my own that I run too. With both companys there is 15 total trucks. We went from 8 total trucks to 15 over night. The owner has never been in expediting.

Wow, I wish I got that much. I don't even average 25% of that per truck each month.

If a manager is charging that under the conditions I mentioned above, I got a great potential investment in a sailboat in Vegas they need to consider. Better off finding someone pooping diamonds. I would park and sell the trucks with that plan.

You may need to reconsider this. I learned how to sail a little boat as a young kid on lake mead, about 15 miles from Vegas.
