You should make more with a T/T than you would with a straight truck. There is more availability of freight out there for tractors, and company revenue is higher on a tractor.
Because of the miles, owners feel that they can getaway withpying you less than they canwith a straight truck. If you are running a combination of expedite and LTL, then you should do better in the tractor as a team. You may want to reconsider hpw the owner pays you.
With a straight truck, most owners pay a percentage of the revenue and with a tractor,they pay per mile. So, I would sure get hold of the owner and work out a different deal.
