everyday tasks and other responsibilities by spending time in EO reading endless, mindless drivel and writing banalities just to see yourself in print, like I'm doing right now.

Be honest with yourselves and the rest of us...total honesty is necessary if you seek a fulfulling, content life! Who cares if it doesn't get done until tomorrow?

Yea, saw this yesterday. Wanted to respond but just didn't get around to doing it until today. "YAWN". LOL. I'm still in Seattle and really bored!

Ahhh...isn't total honesty refreshing?

I used to beat myself up when I 'wasted' a day - or even a portion of a day. I FINALLY discovered life is, indeed, short and I'd better learn to enjoy smelling the flowers once in a while.

Now, when I manage to F off, whether accidentally or by design, I don't get those terrible guilt pangs because of fear I might be losing my Protestant Work Ethic, whatever that is. I might never make up for the time I "waste" today, but 100 years from now who will care...

Ever wonder or ask yourself "How did I pass the time waiting for a load before I had a computer?...."...lol....

I know I was in alot better physical shape before I got the laptop.....my fault, obviously, but alot of wasted time....

Haven't had a run in days but have managed to stay out of EO for just that reason; too easy to spend far too much time with "endless, mindless drivel and writing banalities just to see yourself in print."

Been spending a lot more time outside in good weather or bad, going for nice long brisk walks (3.4 miles the other day to pick up my van after PM instead of waiting for a ride), working on a variety of things at my shop and home, helping family with stuff, etc. Even spent a day taking pictures, which i haven't done in ages.

Feels good to take a break from EO, especially this time of year when it's even easier to sit on my arse and do nothing but thumbtype or read posts. Feels real good. Might even live a couple days longer ;)
