We are loaded - from Houston to Chicago

Probably a silly question but .....Have you called dispatch to make sure they do have you as available?

Pete it is slower because more people are in service this year between Christmas and New Years. Look at some of the load boards and you will see that there is not much going on. Look for things to start picking up around the 5th of January.

I came back in service and got a load out of Fort Wayne on Wednesday. At the office this morning (Thursday) as I want to get a PM done while I am in the area, pick up some log books, and smooze up to the dispatchers.

This is the time of year you take EVERY LOAD as long as it covers your cost, makes you a little money and keeps you in a good area.

If business is slow and it is in DECEMBER, why not save up for this time of year and take 30 days off, its a thought.:D

actually I could stay off till the end of February. But I also want to take some of the hot weather time off...so I'll split it up...I don't really mind the cold....you can always throw on another blanket but in the heat once you are neekid you are toast!!

I have one sprinter on the road that has logged about 2250 loaded since Monday. Three loads so far. All sprinter loads.

Van freight has been slower though.
