Based on alot of recent posts, you may want to use days instead of hours.

I won't surprise me to see the company slash in house employees because they are not making money either. I have small fleet of three trucks with Panther and between St. Paul MN and Pittsburgh PA I have seen two loads go out today. If you can get to Chicago not one truck is there. Stay away from Michigan and Ohio is possible.

My van's had all kinds of runs today. I had a run to the post office to mail something, a run to the grocery for a gallon of milk, and a run to the dentist this morning for a checkup.

Went in service Sat. Didn't figure on anything till monday. Have had 2 runs in 2 day. Both short, but paid more then normal. Talked to a load planner late this afternoon after i dropped in farmington hills, mich. (yeap an automotive load going to a testing lad) and he said they were at 30% of normal business Monday, back to 50% today.

There were 8 vans within 40 miles of metro detroit at 4 pm, so i run home to toledo to sleep in my own bed knowing that there were 6 vans here. Chances are I'll DH somewhere on my own tomorrow and see what the rest of the week brings.

Since Dec 22 we've had 4 loads and 1 was a dry run. Of course we are no where near home :(

I got one while at home on Monday morning - Twinsburg, OH to Three Rivers, MI and then one this morning - Lansing to North Chicago - delivers 7AM tomorrow.

I was at home still OOS, but was getting ready to go back in when I got a call. I'm now sitting at a shipper in western KY. They're still building the parts. Once they get 'em built, they're bound for St Thomas. I was hoping they meant St Thomas, US Virgin Islands, but no such luck.

No loads this year yet, so that makes it 24 hours a day, I think. So, I should vote more than 12, right? :)

The only jobs at Panther that are safe are the recruting department because they have to work there *** off at this point to try to keep truck numbers up. I watched closely yesterday using the board position tools. I could see from MN to eastern PA with a 300 mile range from each truck. One load went out of Michigan and one load went out of OH and that was it. The only hot zone state I could not see was Tennessee and maybe the Carolinas. New England is never really busy in our company, so they might have done 5 loads total. Panther office staff your pink slip is waiting on your desk. I have three trucks and only 2 loads since before Christmas. Number four on Detroit board yesterday and the day before and still number four now. Number 3 on Sandusky board for four days and number two now.

Hope the recruiters are on commission.. would hate to see the big carriers have to actually put money out of their own pockets to pay for something that may not be getting offsetting revenues, kinda like what the owners are expected to do when loads are slim.

We went back in service on December 30th and we have had 4 loads so I guess we are not doing so bad.

No I was refering to the Panther guy that posted a response to my load numbers. Actually the team took two decent runs 680 and 350 miles since the new year. The other drivers are in Michigan and OH and they each got reduced rate $1.10 a mile runs for under 200 miles. They decided to refuse them and sit for a better load because they are just going to burn fuel running the generator for four days plus. Plus any food or living expenses are going to be spent at the truck stop. I can't blame them because last check Detroit had 22 trucks on the board. Relocating is not really a option because most of the other boards are at or near the max. Panthers board numbers are highly inflated at this point.
