How can companys say that they are 100% owner operator when they have fleets that are owned
Some pay them more per mile
have special meetings for them
some companys even move fleets ahead of outher trucks
how many companys and whot hat are truely 100% owner operator

I always thought we were 100% o/o here at Landstar, that is, no company paid drivers competing with the o/o's for loads. Has that changed or what? This is what happens when you take too much time off in the winter months, you fall out of the info loop. How much are they making,do they get new trks., do I get benefits, how much vacation time and I'll be sick tomorrow. Oh, can I have an advance on that next run??

as long as the fleet isnt owned by the company saying 100% owner opp
you can lease your fleet to a company,its not their trucks

Panther is 100% O/O. There are no company owned trucks at Panther. One owner may own his own fleet of several trucks, but that can apply anywhere.

why don't we get some of the non fleet owners responces do they feel like some of the fleet drivers are being moved ahead of non fleet truck owners

I haven't seen it nor do I think it happens that fleet owners get loads first BUT if you own 10-15 trucks your going to have more pull in getting things done in the office I.E. payroll mistakes, getting problems resolved, getting another truck added, etc

iv'e been watching close and just having not realy adding up
know some fleet owners thier drivers
and just wandering if there is any expediting companys that have no fleet owners out there
