How do I start?

Hi all,
I have a class A cdl w/hazmat endorsement and current med card. I drove team last year with my boyfriend in an 18-wheeler, but never got comfortable with the backing. We broke up, and now I've decided I want to drive the smaller trucks or vans. Can someone tell me what questions I need to ask? I have searched the ads, but not sure what it all means. How much could I realistically make? I just want to drive for an o/o right now, not looking to buy. But don't want to get the short end of the shaft either. Where do I start? Any input would be appreciated.

The place to start is right here. This forum has tons of info. on it for us newbies. It never hurts to ask questions, but most of your questions will be answered just by browsing the forums including the archives for each forum. This is by far the best resource I've found with friendly and helpful members.

Start with the "newbies paradise" forum. I would suggest you go through it completely including the archives. Then you can venture off to the other forums.

I have to agree with Arky. We are "newbies" here too and have found a wealth of information in the forums. Make sure you look at the archives too. We're still getting the different "lingo" down, but we're learning with the help of the fine folks here!:7
