Then you KNOW what is USED to be, and how FAST it went away.

I KNEW miners, salt miners, who live in River Rouge, in the early '60's, and what happened to the area they lived in.

I REMEMBER, Ecorse and Inkster, when they were GOOD places to live, same with much of Taylor.

I played at the "Road Rangers" club in Taylor, Democrats all.

I remember.

As a kid growing up, knowing nothing about politics just seeing him on the news, there was something I just liked about Colman Young. I think he had swag
