How are things moving with Cargo Vans?

About to sign on a Cargo Van with someone, haven't desided which company yet. Wondering how freight is moving?
Is this a good time to sign on with someone, I live in Chicago?

Any time is a good time for freight around the chi area.As long as your company has not glutted the area with vans

I am thinking of signing a Van with Panther. I drove for someone signed on with them in a 22' trk, I did pretty good.
I looked around Chicago for a company, but did'nt find one that I was comfortable with.

Any suggestions, from the forum?
